Pelikan Pencil Conversion

This project has been sitting on my bench now for close to a year.
I was sent two old pencil bodies and asked to convert them to take Parker refills.
Like any time you are using old parts there is a risk.
We tried my first idea on a green one that was a common color and I ended up with a bunch of bits. Bad day.
So that is why this one sat on my desk for so long trying to come up with a idea that would still have a complete pen at the end of it all.
One day like many of my projects a solution just hit me and this is what I ended up with.

Tamer"s new pencil

Tamer seen the pictures of a 2mm lead holder I made a bit ago and asked me to make one up for him.
The material is from the vintage stock I got a while ago and the only thing I changed on this one was that I added a grip section just above the nose cone.  It is a bit hard to see but if you look close you can see it.

2mm Lead holder

This was a 2mm lead holder I made up for a friend of mine.
The material is some blue lizard skin I got from a place in England.
I was told that it was over 80 years old.

Not to sure of the gold but all in all a nice looking pencil
